Nissan Xterra 2000 – ’04 Exhaust Headers by Doug Thorley

Doug Thorley has finally decided to make exhaust headers for the 2000 – 04 Nissan Xterra. Finally, 1st Generation Nissan Xterra owners will have a solid solution for the common problem of cracking manifolds. These headers will be a direct bolt on upgrade also increasing horsepower and fuel economy. The prototypes should be done within the next couple of weeks and production pieces will be available shortly after.

If you are interested in these headers, please Contact Us so help us gauge interest for how many will need to be made in the first production run.

If you have any questions, feel free to Contact Us as well.

Thank you,

-Steven Lutz

  1. Def interested. My motor is out right now getting rebuilt and it would be nice to put some headers in.

  2. Sir,

Thank you for doing this, there are other manufacturers out there that dont have the Doug Thorley name attached to them that are incredibly over priced. I for one am highly interested and will purchase a set as soon as they become commercially available. Again, thanks.

  3. Are these going to be emissions-legal? The 03-04 models integrate the cats with the manifold, and the earlier models have 3-8 inches between the exhaust port and the cat flange and will be absolute knots if they don’t displace the cats.

  4. So far we have 5 orders, so we’re looking pretty good but we’re going to need more than that if we’re going to get this project out of the gate.
Tell your friends and repost on others boards to help spread the word!
Thanks for your help in getting this project off the ground.

  5. I’d be interested, price is a key point though. We have peeps from ClubXterra very interested in this, so lets hope they get done are an affordable alternative to whats already out there.

  6. x4 on the S/C!
I’m also from clubxterra and I’m very interested in these headers and hope they fit us outcasted S/C’d folk. I deffinately am trying to get some more juice out of the X as well and I think this would be just the thing for that.
As SaberZ said, price is a big factor.

  7. These look interesting. I already had one of my manifolds crack and replaced. Depending on price I may pick this up. I could always use better fuel economy as well!
